Uncharted masters of the universe, Sony, Tom Holland, Dan Trachtenberg

Sony's last-action Uncharted movie just added Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane) to its list of ex-directors.

Sony is now on the hunt for the video game movie's ordinal director according to a Deadline report. Tom Holland is still sticking around to represent the film's headliner, Nathan Drake, and Sony is "awheel quickly" to find someone new for the conductor role.

Trachtenberg's divergence is not the only news for the Unknown movie, as the report as wel states that the film wish be Sony PlayStation Productions' first feature. Last class Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan set up the studio, which will produce Uncharted along with Chuck Roven, Avi Arad, Alex Gartner, and Ari Arad.

Theatre director of The Fighter, St. David O. Russell, was first eligible to direct the movie but dropped out in 2011. Next eligible was Neil Burger (Limitless), so Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses), followed by Ted Shawn Levy (Dark at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb), and finally Trachtenberg.

Sony has been busy with Holland recently, as the studio apartment may be taking his Spider-Man out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to create films that stand separately, but negotiations are tranquilize under way.
